This week’s Friday Foto Finder challenge is “up”.

That monster in the background is the Torre Pelli, and it has been going up (and up and up…) for almost five years. It almost cost Sevilla its UNESCO world heritage status, but that decision has now been put on hold until 2013, presumably when construction is meant to be finished. So far I think this 180-metre, 40-storey skyscraper is a total eyesore but I once thought the same about the Metropol Parasol, which is now one of my favourite places. Time will tell…
