The sale of Audrey Hepburn’s iconic black dress from classic film Breakfast at Tiffany’s is to fund 15 new educational centres in India.
Yeah I know, it seems rather obscene to value a dress this much, but the end result achieved something very important and special. A nice news story, for a change.

I find it amazing how far money goes in some parts of the world – I bet if they tried to fund children’s educational centres in the US from the proceeds of the dress sale, they wouldn’t even cover the insurance…
