Circumcision helps prevent HIV infection
All well and good until …
“This is an extraordinary development,” said Dr. Kevin de Cock, director of the World Health Organization’s AIDS department. “Circumcision is the most potent intervention in HIV prevention that has been described”.

Cardinal Sin, he was.

As for this bloke – poor chap, going through life with that name. His title only makes it more absurd.

You have t hope that it is maybe pronounced differently than it looks!
I was once on a course with two brothers with the surname Cockman – one pronounced it as spelt, the other as Kohman.

Like Bruce Cockburn the singer – it’s pronounced ‘Kohburn’.
Luckily the doctor didn’t also have a more unfortunate first name…

This reminds me of the recent fuss over here in the States- in Texas, surprise surprise- caused by some bible-thumping idiots who are against the mandatory innoculation of young girls against HPV, claiming it will incite them to run out and have sex.
Your thumbnail photo looks a lot like a soup packet I have on display in my kitchen at home, az.

I bought the stuff I have at a local novelty shop. Not to eat- I couldn’t eat it anyway- but because I thought it was funny. And it matched a rooster plaque I had in the kitchen already.
Where did you find yours, az? I wonder if they have a booming import business. It’s possibly a more popular flavor than some people let on. 😉
