What do you think?
It’s a detail of this photo I took in Barcelona at Casa Battló of a mosaic-tiled bench in the back patio. There are two of these benches there and they have glass ‘pools of water’ in front of them. Gorgeous.
Anyhow, I was getting a bit tired of seeing myself up there every day (though there is still a version of that pic on my ‘about azahar’ page) and so felt like a change. I love the colours and it’s got a very Spanish feel to it, but maybe it’s a bit boring?
I like it 🙂
The bench itself looks like a turtle climbing a wall. Cute.

I love it. The Sistine Chapel one was excellent too, but this heading really works.

Thanks guys. I started this blog last May with the ‘creator’ image, but you know, jokes do tend to get a bit stale after awhile. It was when I put up the pointsettas at Christmas that I started thinking I should do a new header – and possibly even have one that changes more often. We shall see.

It’s a nice chance from two-dimensional to three-dimensional Art.

I recognized it, and I love it. The energy of the mosaic keeps it from being too static.

Looks like it’s a keeper then. 🙂
The colours come out a bit different on Nog’s laptop than on my desktop so it’s hard to know what everyone else is seeing.
Same with text size. If I look at my blog with anything larger than a ‘normal’ or ‘medium’ setting it goes totally wonky and my sidebar ends up at the bottom of the page. Not all themes do this so much. Weird.

If it helps, the colours I see are thoroughly ‘natural’ – ochre tones, leafy greens and the blues of a temperate sea.
