Yeah yeah, I know . . . another blog!!!
But I was looking at my sadly abandoned and neglected trips page this afternoon and thought it might be more interesting to have everything together in one place, kind of like I did with the sevilla tapas page, moving it all over here.
The main ‘problemita’ is that the travelblog is going to have way more photos than the tapa blog – and there is no way of doing bulk uploading of photos on WordPress. Which turns uploading a photo album into a most tedious and arduous task (especially like earlier today when I uploaded and posted 58 photos !!! and then found out they were all the wrong size and had to do it all over again!)
Anyhow, there is only one category even somewhat set up so far – the Barcelona one. I’ve transferred the Barcelona blog post over from here, which talks about the trip – though it still needs to be edited. And there will also be different ‘albums’ (much like how I set them up on Fotki) on separate posts. The only Barcelona album up at the moment is my favourite one, with photos of Casa BatllΓ³. But Nog says 58 photos on a blog post is maybe too much and I should think about editing them down. What do you think?

I agree with Nog, 1 or 2 photos should do the trick π

Well! I totally disagree, having been over to see the Casa Batllo photos, there is NO WAY you could do Gaudi justice with one or two photos. Maybe 58 is a bit too many, especially when you have to upload them one at a time. But it is so fun scrolling through them. I need to go to Barcelona.

Oooo, I’m impressed – you don’t usually use smilies, Arnie. π
Yeah, hmh, I was thinking that scrolling down through pics is easier/more enjoyable than looking at thumbnails on Fotki and then opening each photo file seperately. You can also do slide shows on Fotki but then you have to wait for the pics and can’t go at your own pace.
The uploading is quite a drag, but I was more concerned about people finding so many photos on a post a bit overwhelming and possibly off-putting.
Anyhow, I reckon most albums will be about 30 photos.

I think 58 photos is a bit too much but if they are as beautiful as healing says, maybe post 10 photos.

Why not have a look yourself, mystarbucks? I’ve put up some more in the Barcelona category today – Parc GΓΌell and Casa Pedrera. π

Thanks, mystarbucks. π
I put up CΓ‘diz and Granada photos today and am still working on the others.
Juneish is good, nursemyra. And I certainly hope you drop by Sevilla – it would be a shame for you to be so close and not get to see you. Check out Clickair and Vueling for cheap Bcn-Sev flights (though I think they only book up to about five months ahead). Anyhow, I’ll send you an email with more information.

Spring and autumn are generally the best times to come. The weather is usually still warm and sunny, but not as hot as July and August. And you must come to Sevilla while you’re in Spain.
