I received a comment from hmh on Sunday’s little black dress post, and she mentioned a wine company by that name that she likes. So I had a look at their very cool website and saw they have a little black dress quiz.
Never underestimate what can be achieved with a little black dress, as was previously shown here.
My quiz results follow … wasn’t really surprised to be boring old ‘classic’.
What’s your little black dress?

I am here, as commanded. The first results I got were pretty laughable: the fashionista:
This is so not the case. I’m more the fashion-outcast. I wear what’s comfortable, which often means I’ve had it for years. It seems that the dubious fashionista result was based on my claim that I had more red lipstick than either lip gloss or neutral matte shades of lipstick. I don’t have a lot of lipstick in general. Anyhow, when I changed my answer to either of the other equally not-particularly-relevant-or-accurate answers, I got the same lbd as you: classic. Which suits me just fine. If I find just the right dress, I wouldn’t want to trade it in.
And what is this “vacation” business of which they speak?

Fucked if I know, alejna. Me and ski slopes are not ever likely to happen either. Nah, seriously don’t see you as a fashionista, nor ever wearing frills (cowboy boots, maybe). Hey, thanks for responding to ‘the summons’ – will this always work?
I answered lipgloss and got classic, nursemyra. I’ve never got the hang of wearing lipstick – I keep forgetting it’s there and it ends up smeared all over my face. Took years to learn to wear mascara for much the same reason …

The 70’s are contemporary? Okey-dokey. 🙂
My last little black dress had a sassy button-front tight pinafore bodice and a puffy knee-length skirt with an explosion of crinoline at the back – kind of a bustle effect but softer. Damn cute it was. Well, still is. Don’t think I’ll ever be able to wear it again though. 😦

I’m getting a 404 message on the site. They must have been overwhelmed.
My little black dress is a Hanes A-shirt anyway.

I don’t know why this popped up again. There was a previous comment I thought was spam so I deleted it. Anyhooo… this is from almost two years ago so I guess they’ve taken the quiz down.
