i’m at 54%… but i could get much more lost reading blogs if i didn’t limit myself to no more than an hour per day of reading… weekends? maybe a bit more…
I had to guestimate my time spent reading blogs, etc, because I don’t actually know. Since I mostly work at home and the computer is left on all day I don’t have any specific time for doing stuff online. Sometimes I might spend a whole hour, other times just 10-15 minutes, so it’s hard to know what that adds up to on an average day.
But there is a distinction, which is hard to draw from that survey, between what you do on your own blog (which is what I think of as blogging) and commenting on others.

It could easily have been less!

I must agree with BBJP about the distinction between making blog entries and comments. My percentage point would be higher if comments were included.

What should have been 80, dq – was 48% a typo?
I included making comments, Johnny and toby … perhaps I’m not so addicted after all?

I think(!) the intention was that you should include comments – its just that that isn’t really what blogging means to me.

No, it was the shocked smiley … I thought 48% addiction was exteremely high.
I’ve cut down my blog reading due to that the last days, and read “His Dark Materials” trilogy instead. Took me some 9 hrs yesterday.
