Nothing better than snuggling with cats to make you feel better (someone should tell this to Benjamin who thinks I am trying to murdilate him when I try to snuggle up to him.
I should try the snibbling and see how THAT goes over.
However, I am mindful of the “Animal Cops” show I watched last night where they were removing cats from a hoarder’s house and an irate cat scratched one of the ASPCA guys so badly that it caught a vein in his leg…. YIPES!
Meanwhile, does anyone know a good remedy for a sty in your eye? Currently, I have a tissue and a soft make-up sponge taped over my eye. There is a little blister in the inside corner of my eye which I am assuming is a sty. It has been so long since I had one, I have quite forgotten what they look like (or how to soothe one).
Glad you’re home again. Snibble if you’re able. . . I tried snibbling Mike and it didn’t have the sort of effect I was hoping for. He acted like I was some sort of pariah for days afterwards.
Yeah, that bed is great! And I love that photo because it always says ‘home’ to me. Though Sunny should be curled up on the pillows. The one advantage the hospital bed has is that it ‘sits up’ for you, making getting into and out of bed quite a bit less painful. But this morning I discovered a way of gently rolling onto my left side and then pushing myself to an upright sitting position – not terribly graceful looking, but effective.
I guess if they’d actually done the resection I’d have spent longer in hospital. I reckon the new scar will take as long to heal as the last one, but it is so much better being home.
Hi Az – I hope being at home will speed up your recovery. Now I know where Alec got the Demetri Martin links from – thanks to a posting of his on h2g2 I’ve just had a good laugh for 20 mins. Be careful with the laughing yourself, but don’t forget it completely!
Lots of love from Germany – hope you’re having the same glorious autumn sunshine as we are at the moment.

Lovely bedroom, all it needs is a couple of good books and a cuppa 🙂
Hope you’re soon feeling more the thing.

A nice comfy bed and cats are the best medicine, dq.
There are always books on the night table and Nog is quite good about bringing me cuppas, truce.
Hi TC – nice to see you here. I know what you mean about laughing – I almost popped a few staples watching some of his videos last night. 🙂
It’s finally getting autumnish here. When are you coming back to Sevilla?
