Another corn muffin here. Yeah I suppose I’m confident and like my acheievements to be recognised – my best friend used to tease me about the “Cerfickatick” wall in my old house, covered with cerfickaticks for anything and everything, from the kids 25m swimming badges to framed accountancy qualifications. (Cerfickatick was what my kids used to call them when they were younger, so it’s stuck as a family name)

Sorry, but how do they know Lemon Poppy Seed Muffins are ‘curious about the world and tend to have many interests’. Do they ask them? Is it something that everyone knows about them apart from me? If it is so, should we really be eating them? Especially seeing as they are also ‘social and inclusive. You’ll be friends with anyone.’

I don’t even like muffins. I’d rather have a piece of crisp bread or the utterly sweet cinnamon biscuits one of the local bakeries makes of their left over cinnamon buns.
