Same score, I’d never heard of most of those boy bands. If I’d gotten that one it would be by guessing. I knew the rest of them, I have a large collection of versions of Hallelujah.

I love the kd lang version. According to this article, Cohen wrote 80 verses for this song!

I got 4 of 8, which absolutely astonished me. I almost didn’t bother to go try the quiz because I figured I wouldn’t have a clue, but only one of the ones I was guessing on was right. the other three I actually knew. I guess I’m not as clueless as I thought.

The only Hallelujah I know is by Handel. After about 1910 I get really sketchy on music… I may have missed something if there’s a verse about tying someone to a kitchen chair as the article says.

I got 7 of the 8. I have no idea who Blake is but the others I have heard before. I love the Leonard Cohen version and the Jeff Buckley version. I don’t really like the Rufus Wainright version. k.d. lang’s version is really nice, as well. My friend Ken does a lovely version, as well. He also does the Rufus Wainright version but, as I say, I don’t like it as much.

I got 5 out of 8, but one of those was just a guess.
What was Bono thinking about when he did that?

My favourite version is still Leonard’s, I guess because it’s the first one I ever heard. Jeff Buckley and kd lang are tied for second place.
I’m sure those 80 verses are chock full of pervy stuff, sledpress.

My favorite is either the John Cale version from Shrek, or this one by Allison Crowe.

I got 7 too – my street-cred is riding high. Only missed K.D. Lang. The Jeff Buckley version was astounding but I think I like Leonard Cohen best – he’s a great poet too.

Puddock!!! How could you miss the very best version??? kdLang is by far the best version, IMHO and certainly beats Cohn himself, no matter how many verses he wrote! I got 5 … not that good, I admit.
