I got 80% on the Seattle quiz, missed the one on which singer was born in Seattle, and what the first settlement of the area was called. Bad Silverstar, must study.

I’m apparently really crap at this as I only got 60% for both Toronto and Barcelona. 😦

I got 90% for London. Didn’t know the name of Dickens’ literary magazine.

Managed 100% on London, thanks to a lucky guess on the Dickens question, but only got 38% on Beijing. Guess I’d better have a few more visits there.
Slightly miffed not to see any Scottish cities in the quiz.

Hmmm, I got 88% on L.A., and 78% on S.F. Only made one trip up there so far, must be oversaturation of travel shows.

Actually I was misinformed and misdirected by local legend. I was always told that Captain Vancouver stayed a week and that the 9 o’clock gun was put there for curfew. All lies. Damn tourists! 😛

It’s a fair cop. My map doesn’t say that about the dragons.
It’s all about getting into the quizmaster’s head, really. I didn’t actually know any of the answers – went by what the answers should be psychologically.

Well, I spent a pleasant half hour doing this quiz, and my results indicate that I know a little bit about a lot of places and almost nothing about some others, and quite a lot about just a few. I managed:
100% on London and San Francisco.
30% Sydney and Singapore
40% on Vancouver, Mexico City
50% on Atlanta, Beijing, San Diego
60% on Seattle
75% on Athens
89% on Los Angeles
I chickened out after I started getting so many low numbers.

I did lousy on NYC (like 50%) but killed Rome at 100%. I dare not try another city for now.
