A bit of Sunday serenity caught yesterday afternoon after coming home from a few hours of tapas and hotel research … as you can see, the boys were feeling quite relaxed and cuddly. Looking at photos like these it’s hard to believe I actually have to separate them when I’m not home. Anyhow, isn’t Azar looking very shiny and healthy? And doesn’t Loki look like a bundle of mischief just waiting to happen?

Their colours really complement each other

They do, don’t they? Loki rather blends in with the decor and Azar is our little accent colour. You can see in some of the photos that Loki is looking right at me and the camera while Azar’s gaze has drifted … damn cataracts.
The only time he seems to really “see” me anymore is when we are doing out cuddle thing in bed and he’s nestled into the crook of my arm with his bendy paw resting on my chest… then he totally stares at my face. I don’t know if he can actually see me but his gaze doesn’t waver.

Azar is looking lovely, but Loki is just THE most gorgeous cat in the world. I particularly like the bottom centre pic, they look so chilled.

Loki really does have gorgeous markings and I love his funny wide “lion’s nose”, but I still think Azar is the most beautiful cat in the world. I wanted to capture this “chilled” few moments because they never last long. Notice in the second pic (from lower left) that Loki is licking Azar’s bendy paw, which is adorable. But the usual sequence goes – lick, lick, lick…CHOMP! Then Azar starts wailing and Loki goes into full attack mode. *sigh*
I will seriously consider the next kitten that happens my way as a playmate for Loki.
