We have to keep the aircon running 24/7 at high summer because in the Eastern US, the damp will literally start to degrade things in your house. Like, stuff gets moldy. So we don’t get hit with the tropical living room, but sticking your head out the door is like sticking it into a locker room after a game. Ugh. And my yard looks like the Amazon jungle.
