I love it, even if I don’t know what the &*^$ I would do with diamond jewelry. Actually I did once get a pair of grip springs and a barbell set from an old boy friend and considered it one of my best all time gifts, J. C. Penney???
Yeah, I know… who the hell would go to JC Penney for a diamond necklace?
And I would actually consider a year’s worth of gym time a very nice prezzie.
But electrical appliances?? I was once given an electric orange juicer as a Christmas present, by my live-in boyfriend. I mean, WTF? Like, gee thanks, now I can make you fresh oj every morning? Mind you, I don’t get presents at all anymore so have to get my own (see tomorrow’s post!)

I thought the same regarding the gym subscription. Then again, I guess it depends if the partner had expressed any interest in it before.

But then you don’t really thing of them as “appliances” I guess 😉

I once bought my boyfriend a circular saw for Christmas. He bought me a “sexy” nightie… 3 sizes too small (which apparently this was MY fault).
Truth be told, I bought him the circular saw because I wanted it. I took it when I left him. I hope he was happy with the nightie.
