I woke up this morning with a definite Christmassy feeling!
This week it’s been much colder, going from “Indian summer” temps to very chilly overnight and then sneaking up to about 16-18º during the day. Still pleasant for walking around, and people are making the most of terrazas that get direct sunlight, but it’s suddenly winter. And December. So thoughts have turned to my favourite holiday of the year.
To be honest, I haven’t had a really great Christmas in many years, for many reasons. And that’s kind of made me sad, and made me almost give up on even trying to celebrate. But this year feels different somehow. So I plan on having a wonderful Christmas this year in my fabulous new home (still feels new to me, though it’s been almost a year). Who wants to join me? 🙂

In the interest of consolidating this Christmassy feeling, here is an Advent Calendar.

When I read this yesterday it was cold & damp. But today…I too have the Christmassy feeling. It’s the first proper frosty morning but the sky is bright and clear. I love days like this and the fact I’m going in to work late so was walking the dog in daylight was the icing on the cake.
This year seems to have been good for you, so it’s only fitting to end it with a Happy Christmas. So go ahead and enjoy it!

It was cold, grey and damp here this morning (Dec 2nd) but now the sun is out again. I love bright blue days in winter, even if it’s colder than when there’s cloud cover. Much better to have the sun.

Yep, got another kitten to cuddle this Christmas! If she’ll hold still long enough…

Another December 1st first… finally switching on the space heater yesterday afternoon, next to where I work in the livingroom. Still holding off on the central heating (€€€!).
As you can see, my trusty assistant was also enjoying the electric fire…
