This week’s day trip to celebrate my 20th anniversary in Spain was to… Triana!
Which may not seem odd for those of you who don’t know Sevilla, but it was actually a day trip within the city, to one of its many colourful barrios. I had some research to do and so decided to make a day of it with Peter (who is scarily on his way to summer unemployment). Here’s a glimpse of some of the places we went to. Do you ever go day-tripping in your own city? I think it’s a great idea.

Looks lovely! I wish we had anything remotely as beautiful or interesting in Ottawa to visit. My equivalent is running out to the country and seeing what we can see. We’re always finding something we’ve not seen before or seeing the changes in places we’ve been before.
Hoping Peter manages to secure summer employment!
