Today is the “official” party to celebrate my 20th anniversary of living in Spain. First I’m meeting some friends who are coming into town – we’re having lunch at Vineria San Telmo – and then I’ll head over to Bar Chinkoa around 7 o’clock to help Ana set things up. Should be a fun day.

It’s such a great song! Though since it was featured in the last episode of the Sopranos it’s ended up everywhere. Also good for today – I don’t really know what made me think that I was meant to live in Spain, but ever since I got here I’ve never stopped believing it.

You are at home! It’s a wonderful thing when you travel from one place to another and then one day you simply know in your heart that you’re home, where you’re meant to be. Most incredible really, from Thompson, to Winnipeg, to Toronto to…Sevilla, amazing and celebrating 20 years, even more amazing. Job well done! I hope to see some celebration pictures too. Enjoy your day!!

Actually it was Winnipeg first (where I was born). Thompson was an unfortunate chapter of my childhood best forgotten. The photos have already started on my @SevillaTapas twitter…
