The word biblical comes to mind. Holy cow, it’s been raining cats and dogs all day. With intermittent torrential downpours that make it impossible to even step outside. And it looks like this isn’t going to let up until the weekend. Everyone says that this is a good thing, because Sevilla always needs rain, but I think deep down people wish it could always be sunny.
Me? I’d just like to get my laundry dried.
Isn’t this a fabulous photo by Raúl Díaz? (click to enlarge). He’s a twitter friend and “neighbour” and took this pic today in the centre of Sevilla.

http://www.youtube.com/watch_popup?v=Hzgzim5m7oU&vq=medium Just after reading about all the rain in your post I opened another email from a friend. It’s quite lovely so I thought I’d share it. I only hope you can open it. But you are very clever so it should work. Hope you can dry your clothes soon! Raining here too but it sure beats the snow. Keep well!

Good luck with the rain… Some rain is okay, but I (grandma herself) remember the winter of 89/90 when it rained eh… well, the complete winter. It was really awful, some houses collapsed, and my clothes were molding in wardrobe… Good luck and I hope Seville gets back to its sunny self real soon.
