This week’s Friday Foto Finder challenge is “insect”…
It turns out that I haven’t got one insect photo! Except for this snail, which many people think are insects but in fact are mollusks (and anyhow, this isn’t even a real snail). And except for these icky galeras below. Which aren’t insects either, but don’t they look like sea bugs? Ick.

I love the snail! Those shrimpy things are very…odd looking. I’m not entirely sure I can tell which end is the head.
Funny that you don’t have any insects in your photo archive! I attribute it to living in the city, though surely you must have some urban bugs. Maybe just not very photogenic ones?

Mosquitos in late spring, humongous street cockroaches in summer. Not exactly what you’d call photogenic.

I have always thought prawny/shrimpy crustaceans look somewhat insectival 🙂
