I owned an album by Bobby Rydell when I was in grade school, for some unimaginable reason — I may have asked for it because it contained the title “Alley Cat,” and, well, cats — and this one was on it. I remember liking the idea, though I had never seen a building that would allow a person to hang out on the roof.
