Mine is less romantic and very boring. I find myself fixated like an expecting other over the 6 small pilons of the Seville Najarna Agria that I have nursed to health in their little incubator. Somehow these semilla found their way into my luggage from the Alcazar Jardin. how could that happen:)

I know the English use the sour orange for their marmalade, but in South Florida and much of the Caribbean, we use it to make Mojo to marinade for pork. just about every Cuban recipe for Puerco Asado call for a 24 hour soaking of a good pork shoulder in one’ own recipe for Mojo using Naranja Agria as the essential ingredient.
