So yeah I know, I said that one of the “good things” about lockdown and, in my case, continuing to shelter, was that I didn’t have to spend money on new summer clothes or sandals this year (and this may continue into the winter). BUT, I still need comfy clothes to wear around the house, since that is mostly where I am. And so I’ve found a few things online (and on sale!), mostly at M&S. A couple of cotton summer nightgowns, knickers… and these totally comfortable crop top bras. I was actually looking for bralettes but they don’t seem to make them in my size, so for at-home wearing these are perfect. Just got them today and well, there’s no going back. I mean, I wouldn’t be able to wear them out but I should have been buying these years ago.
What covid comfort stuff have you been buying?
Booze and Rock Tape.

Rock Tape is the one and only brand of sports tape that actually stays on, If I were there I’d tape your shoulder. It doesn’t just support, it actually lifts the skin in a way that helps swelling and therefore inflammation drain. Since I can’t get to the gym and have limited weights, it’s been walking as far as I can every day, and the punishment to my legs has been extreme considering the weird way I carried myself while the incision was healing. I taped up my ankle and knee (opposite sides) daily for a couple of weeks — usually Rock lasts several days, but even it can’t withstand this sweaty weather. It was the ONLY thing that kept me moving.

Yebbut I was just talking about comfy bra tops. Which also helps with the shoulder pain because I don’t have a killer strap digging in. I like the idea of having my shoulder taped up with this stuff though!
