I have two cats regularly spending time in my garden at the moment. It seems since I lost Harry it's become territory up for grabs – there are actually 5 cats that saunter through regularly. But these two actually hang out. One is next door's adopted outdoor cat – they won't let her in as he is in his 90s and terrified of falling on her, so she lives in their outhouse with a cosy cushiony bed in a box and food twice a day. She's very friendly and has taken to lying under a cotoneaster bush I have growing over a wall, which has formed a bit of a den. The other day I was working from home and turned to look out the window whilst finishing my coffee, and she was sitting in the middle of the yard watching me 😀
The other sleeps up the top of the garden in the afternoons when the sun is there. She's very pretty (I think of her as she as she's very dainty) but has so far resisted my friendly advances aprt from once booping my outstretched hand before stalking away.
The two cats have staring contests and sometimes yowling matches. It's fairly entertaining.
I do love a bit of a Loki fix ❤

This sounds ideal. You get to enjoy the cats without the expense 😉
On the other hand, you don’t get to have them sleeping on your head. Oh wait…
