It looks like Morcilla is on the mend after a having a dodgy tummy. She’s been wolfing down her special diet pàté, plus loving all the fuss made over her, being fed on her own private table next to my desk, and hasn’t thrown up for a few days, so fingers crossed she’ll be fine now. My girl. 🐈⬛🤍🐾

It’s so upsetting when they’re not well. Aggie — who is of course Morcilla’s doppelganger, or was until she became Frosted ™ — had a bout of upchucking last year that turned out to be the first sign her thyroid was getting out of control. A very unusual way for that to manifest, but watch out for the little lady losing weight despite eating. What’s in her special food?

Omg she can’t lose weight, she already doesn’t weigh anything. I mean, look at the photo. But yes, will keep an eye on her. Here food is Hill’s ID Prescription Diet in soft paté form. What I want to see is Morcilla being hungry enough to eat the bikkies again. We shall see.

I know, she’s tiny. Anyway Aggie is the only thyroid cat I ever knew of who started off that way. Now we have two merrily getting their thyroid medicated Churus, a household recipe.
