plastic hamperI have been reduced to this!

Los Rompetodos have been at it again and have laid waste to yet another laundry hamper, this time by climbing inside and (I think it was Morcilla) peeing all over the sheets, which soaked through the cloth. And although the last hamper was no beauty (it looked like this) it was at least made of wood and natural-white cotton. Not icky plastic. But I clearly needed something that they wouldn’t be able to either rip to shreds or get inside and this one fit the requirements. Why it even has a cat-proof “click lock” lid.

To be honest, it’s kind of barely there and – so far – the cats seem to be ignoring it. It’s always something with these guys.

garlic flowers
I cannot have either plants or cut flowers in my home. This sometimes makes me sad, but that’s what I get for having three cats that I love to smithereens. But then I saw this rather amazing arrangement in a tapas bar and wondered if it would work at casa az. These are garlic flowers! And I think they’re gorgeous. But knowing my cats they’d use them as a side dish to go with their asparagus…

stretch snooze

Morcilla is the longest and lankiest cat ever.
Even longer than Loki Longshanks if you take size into consideration.
There’s just something so comforting watching here sleep.

morcilla sleeping with fish
Well this was certainly 20€ well spent! I remember when I first bought this little fish bed over seven years ago, thinking I was probably buying it mostly for myself as cats are known to be contrary about where they sleep and what they play with. But darling Azar took to it straight away and a week or so later Sunny decided he liked it too.

Since then Loki and Luna have also spent countless hours on it, and now Morcilla. To be honest, at this point it’s definitely seen better days so a reupholstery job may be in the offing. But it’s still surprising to me how much all the cats have loved it.
