Back in December I posted this Playing For Change video that I’d swiped from Sledpress, a wonderful global rendition of Stand By Me. And I didn’t get one comment on it! 😦

Then curiously, I was recently sent a link to that very same video by both my good buddy Blues Shark and another h2g2 friend AlecTrician. Later Alec sent me another very nice PFC vid called War/No More Trouble, which I was going to post here but didn’t want to inflict Bono and his dopey blue-tinted glasses on any of you. So instead you get One Love.

Isn’t it fabulous?

I was tagged with this musical “me-me” the other day by my friend Blues Shark … on Facebook! Now, as everyone should know by now, I HATE Facebook and only stay there because of a few friends who only do social networking stuff there.  And so I’ve decided to do this here instead. The rules are as follows:

  • Put your iTunes, Windows Media Player, etc. on shuffle.
  • For each question, press the ‘next’ button to get your answer.
  • YOU MUST WRITE DOWN THAT SONG NAME, NO MATTER HOW SILLY IT SOUNDS.
  • Tag…. your turn!

I used my iPod. Some of my “answers” were totally nonsensical, but others were kinda funny. You can see them below …

When Pip and I were in Tangier this past (long) weekend we ate at the Hamadi Restaurant twice. They have a wonderful group of musicians there who play delightful music while you dine. This was taken on our second visit – the guys already “knew” us by then and were happy to appear in a video. I told them I was going to make them famous.  🙂
