Posted in blogging, food & drink, photos

Back in September I started a kitchen blog to share recipes with y’all, including some I just made up on the spot. Then the other day my buddy WeeRascal posted some food pics on Twitter of a meal he was making, and it looked so fabulous that I asked if he would like to contribute to the kitchen blog. Which he most graciously did – you can check out his Angus beef & coriander casserole.
Would you also like to be a guest chef contributor?
Just send in a favourtite recipe with a pic or two.

Today’s photohunt theme is “broken”.
When I found Azar in the square with his left front leg broken – some #@%¿! had tried to kill him – I knew that I couldn’t leave this little street cat out there to fend for himself. It took a while before I finally managed to get him home, but he is now going on 15 and can run around on three legs very well. He can also do a death-defying walk along the back of the sofa. And he is a total cuddle monster.
Azar means chance or happenstance in Spanish
And his little broken hockey stick leg is actually his “pata de suerte”.
Funny how things turn out…

Oh look! Flickr is good for something after all. 😉
Go to FlickrPoet and type a sentence, a poem, some lyrics or even just a few random words. When you click on the ‘Show Story’ button, FlickrPoet will browse the Flickr database and pull an image for each word/phrase used in your sentence. These images will be organized to provide you with a picture story.

Today’s photohunt theme is “average”.
This is the average temperature in Seville in August.
These tinajas at Casa Morales are somewhat larger than average.
