the radiator

I’ve had this oil-filled electric radiator for over 15 years now. It was a gift when I was living in my old place with no heating in barrio Santa Cruz.  I don’t use it much any more, but on extra cold days like now I pull it over to my comfy chair for some extra warmth and cosiness. Of course I then have to pull up a couple of seats for the cats (Morcilla sits on my lap). And then I have to keep stopping them from climbing on top of the thing. Honestly , the fun never stops around here. How are you keeping warm?

Just in case you guys think it’s ALL NETFLIXING ALL THE TIME around here, Morcilla also takes her duties as my PA in the office very seriously. As you can see it’s NOT DISTRACTING AT ALL having her snuggle on my shoulder while I sit at my desk and pretend to work. Ok, I lie. It’s distracting AF, but it’s also so adorable I don’t want her to stop. Especially when she starts purring and nuzzling her little nose against my ear *squeeeeee*.

It was clear that something was up, and that something probably had something to do with DINNER. These two sat across from my while I was enjoying yet another episode of West Wing and just stared at me. I held firm because it wasn’t actually dinner time.

Then you can see there was a bit of a conference between them and they clearly decided to gang up on me and stare me down until I gave in. What can I say? They won, as always.
