Meet Lua! Her family is away this month and so she has four Codparents taking turns stopping by to check in and keep her company for awhile. Today was my turn. She’s quite a friendly girl, but after an initial cuddle just wandered off and pretended I wasn’t there (maybe she thought I’d be staying?). Anyhow, at least Lua has people stopping by every day and I’m happy to do my part.

My big beautiful Sunny was born 28 years ago today.
He was born into my hands and died in my arms 16 years later.
I still miss him, his blue eyes, those white toes…

Luna on her tattered throne. As you can see I still haven’t taken the old shredded cat stand down to the rubbish bins and I think Luna actually prefers this one. Someone suggested that she thinks of it as a personal accomplishment and I reckon there is something to that. She’s been making some headway on the new one, but this is the one she always goes back to.
