This week’s Friday Foto Finder challenge is “fireworks”…
A couple of months after moving into the new casa az in early 2011 I heard some ka-blooming going on outside and realised it was the closing midnight fireworks for the Feria de Abril. So I grabbed my iPhone (not the best choice) ran up to the roof and took a few dozen totally blurry pics. This was the only one that turned out. Sort of.

I have to admit that a lot of street art leaves me cold, but I remember a time a few years ago when we had Rodin in the Plaza Nueva and Dalí in the next square over. That was cool!

These fantastical chimneys by Antonio Gaudí are from two of his famous Barcelona houses in the fashionable Passeig de Gràcia: Casa Batlló and Casa Milà (La Pedrera).

Not only are these animals not native to Sevilla but this photo was taken exactly a year ago today, which I think makes it a good choice for this particular challenge. Besides, more cats would have been too easy…

This week’s Friday Foto Finder challenge is “mailbox”…
These four mailbox slots are on the outside wall of the main post office in Sevilla. You can just about make out that the two on the left are for mail going to Sevilla and Madrid (click to enlarge). The other two on the right are for the provinces and foreign countries.
