This week’s Friday Foto Finder challenge is “star”.

Modesto Restaurant has been one of my favourite tapas spots for almost twenty years. Although it has a bit of a touristy dining area outside on the terrace, inside at the bar it’s full of locals enjoying some of the best seafood in town. And the star of the show is Manolo, who has worked at Modesto for about 38 years now. A consumate professional and showman extraordinaire, he makes every visit special and keeps you coming back for more. Manolo is due to retire next year and I just can’t imagine the place without him.
