My favourite photo of this year’s Semana Santa (so far). The littlest costalero! So cute. I think most of the processions went out today, but now it’s raining so not sure what’s happening. I imagine that many will have sought refuge. Rain and thunderstorms predicted over the next couple of days, which will pretty much shut down the two most important days of the week. Stay tuned…

Was finally feeling well enough to get out today, and took in a bit of lunes santo (holy Monday). Sometimes I like just wandering around and seeing which processions I run into. Today it was the Cautivo Jesús and El Beso de Judas. I may still make it out to see Museo come out, as it’s just around the corner from me. Or I may just go to bed. Not quite sure yet.

With Semana Santa just a week away, this is becoming a common sight. Costalero practice. Usually done late at night or on Sunday mornings, to avoid disrupting traffic. I’d sure hate to be the guy in the middle…
