This album by the fabulous Kiko Veneno came out in 1995, and this song especially reminds me of when I met Azar. I wish like crazy we could go back and do it all over again…

So there I was lying in bed during the wee hours and listening to the radio when an obvious cover version of Come Together came on. At first I thought “who the hell would have the nerve to do this!” and then I thought “hey, this actually sounds pretty good” and then “hey, I recognise that voice!” I had no idea this version existed. I think it’s fabby.

Someone mentioned this song on Twitter the other day and I thought “man, I haven’t heard that one in ages!”. It was one of my favourite songs ever when I was a kid. Once again, the 60’s background dancers just crack me up. Back then I wanted to be one so badly.
