I haven’t seen (or even heard of) Napoleon Dynamite … the other two films are quite, um, indy.

Napoleon Dynamite makes those two look like Transformers. It’s very weird.

Weird Good or just Weird Weird?
I get really impatient with young directors who think it’s enough just to be weird.
I quite enjoyed Clerks and thought Garden State was quite fun too.
My fave indie directors are Jim Jarmusch and John Sayles.
