Damn. I have to pack for a trip to Minnesota next week with my CA-born wife, and I was so hoping for nice “Indian summer” fall days, lots of bright color, warm, with a hint of that burnt autumn smell in the air.
It’s going to be windy and cold with gusting rain and all the leaves on the ground and in the gutter, I just know it, and how will she ever go back …
