. . . aka NaBloPoMo
A misnomer as it is clearly International Blog Posting Month. In any case, I’ve just signed up (eep!) after seeing this over on alejna’s blog. Which means that during the month of November I am committed to writing one blog post a day. I reckon I post about 4-5 times a week on average so a few more shouldn’t be too difficult. And now watch me suddenly get total blogger’s block and end up posting a month of quizzes! π
There are groups you can join (or you can create one yourself) as well as discussion forums. And so, if you’d like to get in on the fun (?) then visit the NaBloPoMo website and sign up. G’wan, you know you want to . . .
Hurray! We can egg each other on. And perhaps borrow inspiration from each other when we run low. (“Could I borrow a half a cup of inspiration? I seem to have run out, and this recipe clearly calls for inspiration. Though I wonder if I could substitute stubbornness.”)

An’ thar be plunderin’ an’ pillagin’ too… aaarr!
But I’m still confused about where we post – on our own blogs or the one they set up when we registered? Or both?

Aha! I just answered this (there where to post bit) over at my place. (The perils of having the same conversation in two places!)
I think most people will be posting mainly on their own blogs. That’s what I’ll be doing. You can use the NaBloPoMo one you got in whatever way you want. But I don’t feel like investing a lot of effort into something temporary. (Some people have gone all out and individualized their NaBloPoMo page, but I haven’t changed mine from the default.)
And aye, the pillagin’ and plunderin’ will also suit us well. Arrrr.

Gaaaaa!!! The pressure! π―
Yes, I still have another week before this thing starts. And a good thing too, so I can get the new website going and actually have time to do a little extra blogging.
Bad luck there, Ashish. But some cheering on would be good for the ol’ motivation. π

I try to post everyday, or close to it, but sometimes it isn’t possible. I don’t think signing up for anything will change my habits though.
