Hours of fun for the whole family with the Funny Face Generator

If you want to see how symmetrical your face is, use a straight on picture of your face with your head held perfectly straight. When placing the midline try to position it directly in the middle of the nose. That’s my passport photo in the centre – the most ‘straight on’ pic I have. So much for symmetry=beauty. Unless you happen to fancy Russian peasants or inbred pinheads.

If you want to get a bit more creative try experimenting with different angles, tilted heads, and placing the midline in different places. Play around with it and you can get some hilarious results. Even with just a slightly tilted head Nog comes out looking either like a scary mad scientist or an NFL linebacker.
If you’d like to put your creations in the symmetry album you can email your pics to me along with the orginal photo. I plan on doing a few more myself.

(it’s fun with cats too!)

I’m wondering whether it was a bad idea to email some rather stupid looking symmetricalised pictures of myself to az. π
The tea one had to go on though (to appear tomorrow…)

Uh yeah, cos the tea ones don’t look stupid at all! π
Yes, will put the second batch up maΓ±ana (well, later on today) … must get some sleep now.

the cat photos are great! I’m kind of glad i don’t have any frontal head shots to try.
my face is VERY asymmetrical. strangely, it’s much more noticeable in a mirror than if someone is actually looking straight at me

Something of the same mad scientist/NFL linebacker thang going on with Dan as with me.
Asymmety in mirror images is much more noticeable because what people see isn’t what they expect. I’ve had people say that to me, too.

Az, that is one amazing set of photos! I can see the cerebral cat being used as an icon.
You can grab the photo in my sidebar if you like. It’s way tilted, so the results should be a hoot.

They actually come out better (well, funnier) if they’re on an angle, daisie & nursemyra, as you can see with the three new ones I’ve just put up – CJ, me and Dan.
Yeah, the floating cat head is great, isn’t it? Also the one with him joined at the head (well, he is Siamese…)
Okay ian, you asked for it… π

nog – I think it’s the enlarged forehead versus enlarged chin and neck when you do one at an angle.

Yeah, I thought that caption was rather inspired, Dan. π
Which reminds me, if anyone would like a specific caption under their pics, just let me know.

And bear in mind that Dan is extremely fussy about his tea – none of that teabag shit. It’s got to be fresh leaves and made just so!

i’d say mine is more ‘vampire schoolmarm’ and ‘champion mudwrestler’. whoa. anyone want to place wagers on my mudwrestler vs dan’s ‘hulk’?
oh, and does anyone else see the resemblence between the ‘pinhead’ pic of CJ and Maria Shriver (1st lady of California)?

oooh daisyfae you’re very cute, even as a school marm too. the mudwrestler: not so much π

nm – thanks! never gonna be as smokin’ hot as you are, but i can still collect my share of backstage stalkers, apparently. i may have to download that ‘school marm’ shot and use it for my official portrait for work. i think she looks like a lot of fun!

Hilarious!
I already knew my face is asymmetrical.
What I didn’t know is that my split personae are the Hulk & the village idiot.
Actually, I think I did know that…
