Mmmmmm … this is just what I need!
| You Are Mac and Cheese |
![]() When you are stressed out, you seek safety above everything else. And nothing is more nourishing than a big warm plate of carbs. Taking risks takes a toll on you, and you prefer your comfort food to be old fashioned. You’re the type of person who could eat the same meal every night, especially when life is hard. |

Mac and cheese here too.

I’m chocolate. As a matter of fact, I have a thing for funky exotic chocolates. Last one tried was hazelnut and blackcurrent, and I’m gaga for the ones you find at Brix Chocolate (matched to various wines, no less).
Nothing else is worth wasting the calorie debt.

Potato chips….
In fact, one of my favorite comfort foods, though I rarely indulge in it is bananas and potato chips eaten simultaneously.

Wow, a chocolate and wine pairing might even get me to start liking chocolate, sledpress.
Thanks for putting the blurby thing up, Johnny.
I’m sure I tried peanut butter and jelly when I was a kid, nursemyra, but I must have blocked out that particularly nasty memory.

Oh, and that mac & cheese description above is VERY me, especially the first and last lines. My latest almost daily meal has been chinese rice noodles, cooked with some variation of garlic, mushrooms, courgette & broccoli, and sometimes a bit of chicken. I just keep craving this and – so far – haven’t got tired of it. Probably not super healthy though, as I really load on the soya sauce.

I am chocolate – no surprise there! Mind you, I quite fancy mac cheese now I’ve seen that tasty pic…just nipping off to the kitchen, back later…

I’m a mac and cheese, too. Reckon it’s about right, though I do hanker for mashed potatos and sweetcorn sometimes.

Bananas and potato chips are really good… Sweet and salty… I will only eat bananas when they are still slightly green and a bit hard to peel. They are so tangy and fragrant. I hate them when they skins are bright yellow and the flesh is pasty. Blecccch. I am always reminded of the James Michener book “Hawaii” when I see overly ripe bananas.
During the voyage to Hawaii, Jerusha Hale, the pregnant wife of the missionary is forced to eat bananas as the only non-biscuit food item on the menu. upon he arrival, she steadfastly refuses to eat bananas because of her revulsion. She is unaware that bananas are not the squashy, mushy, oily, black-skinned fruit she was forced to eat on her voyage.
As for peanut and jelly (or jam), not like peanut and jelly????? Sad… very, very sad…

Stealing – oh and potato chips – which is so true! Haven’t eaten them in years but since I got sick, I can’t tell you how many bags I’ve devoured.
