Goodness that says a lot in a few words.
I hope that you feeling up to the stretching!
(Also, I could use some stretching myself. I spend waaaay too much time sitting slouched on the couch, hunched over my laptop. My muscles are terribly neglected.)

Well, I’ve been rather floppy since the infusion on Thursday, alejna, though I did manage to take a walk every day, except for rainy yesterday.
I had high hopes for making it to yoga class this morning, but the port stitches are still “tuggy” and I’m loathe to pull anything in that area before the stitches are actually taken out. Besides, at 8 o’clock this morning I was still out like a light.
But I do plan on stretching! Remember THE LIST?
This week I am going to systematically go through each item (ten so far) and write down the steps involved for getting each one moving. I can keep the ten separate files spread out along the top level of my weird work table while using the lower level for teaching.
I just have one English class this week, but I may also start flogging the restaurant classes if Nog gets his presentation done in the next couple of days. And meanwhile keep taking baby steps with all the other projects.
And I might even make it to the Feria … not sure about that yet.

I stretch every day. It is a good thing, and I credit it with keeping me going. I like the photo that illustrates your post, too.

I went to a new yoga class on Saturday and enjoyed it, though it was a different style to the one I usually do (Hatha rather than Ashtanga). I’m going again tonight. It did me so much good – I don’t know why I stopped going all those months ago!

Man, things have been so crazy lately I need a stretching rack… or to start every morning with yoga!

Happy stretching! The word means something else to me as I’ve been involved in that writing competition on hootoo. And I have to say, it has certainly stretched me as a writer, but boy does it eat into my free time!

I always feel the punishment if I don’t do a short Yoga routine after the day’s clients. Actually, I started with Yoga, when I was nine. I commenced chucking big weights around later. Yoga makes everything else you do with your body a little easier, probably because it doesn’t stop with the body.
Even with the stitches, you can always do the breathing…

Back from yoga class – I actually made it this morning! It was hard and I couldn’t do everything, but I’m really glad I went.
I dunno what’s going on this week, but I’m feeling extra fragile or vulnerable or something. Might be a reaction to the anti-nausea meds – I read on the colon club forum that sometimes there is a “depression crash” after taking them. Or it might have to do with having the port – it really does creep me out. In any case, I have just felt like crawling under a rock these past few days … except then I get bored and lonely. Bleh.
So, back to the land of the living today. I’m going to do a little photo essay for azahar’s Sevilla on the tram and recently opened metro (neither of which I’ve been on yet). And then I have my one class of the week this afternoon.
After that it’ll probably be back into pj’s and curling up in the comfy chair. I hope to be able to focus on my projects tomorrow. I do have the various pages spread out on the table, which is a good visual reminder … I just need to get my brain working in an orderly fashion. Breathing helps.

Funny thing about breathing. Things just work better all around if you are participating in that activity!
Glad you are feeling better. I’ve been feeling a little fragile myself lately, but it is all just family crap and nothing life threatening or health related.

Oh I dunno, hmh … I reckon that families can be considered hazardous to one’s health. 🙂
I ended up having to switch my class to tomorrow. By the time I got home I was so exhausted I had to go straight to bed for a couple of hours. MUST remember in future to pace myself on the days I have classes, especially during the first week after the infusion.
Some good news! I stopped by the computer place and found out that Toshiba is going to fix SB on warranty, so I should have her back home in another week or so. I thought they’d have to replace the whole screen, but apparently they can just change the plastic cover and hinges.
Anyhow, more stretching tomorrow …

There’s something cosy about being awake in the wee hours with snoozing cats next to me and being able to catch up on my blog reading on the iPhone (google reader) and leaving comments here and there.
Sure haven’t been up to writing any blog posts myself this week, but will HAVE to write one tomorrow. You’ll see.

Well, when you do catch up, here is a tag…

Hi, az-
I just had to check in to make sure I hadn’t missed something. (I still don’t trust that my feeds are set up right.) But here you are in the comments!

I’m always in the comment, alejna! I actually quite like it when they get all conversational-like.
Not a bad day. Got the port stitches out, then did a bit of grocery shopping (tomorrow is a holiday here) then had my class with Bizzy from the Italian restaurant across the street. She’s lovely. It was only our second class but we seem to have “clicked” and the hour just flew by, so I know I’m really going to enjoy these classes.
Now if I could just find some more …
So, it’s the beginning of week two in the ol’ chemo cycle. Feeling a bit better and so hope to make some progress with the LISTS over the weekend.
I’ve been tagged??? Gaaaa!!!
