See, as I read this I am listening to the wren sing and chat and scold, and am trying to analyze her twitter. Right now she is happy and the kids have had breakfast and the damn cat damn cat damn cat is not around.
What I see up there in your post is why I must stay away from this service. I already have one set of stats I am obsessed with, from my blog. If I got on twitter no one would see me again, I would be so buried in the computer my gardens would wither and become overrun by weeds and the dog would think I had died and she had gone to hell. I can see it could be a seriously addicting thing.
Hope you are not feeling to punky today. I am feeling positively on top of the world, after having feasted on fresh home made strawberry ice cream (which I realize as I write this is probably a painful impossibility for you right this instant because of the”cold” chemo reaction), and I’m drinking wonderful coffee, the sun is just coming up on what promises to be a perfectly beautiful day.
For something restful and beautiful to gaze at check this out:

My analysis of Twitter: it’s dead! Or it soon will be. It’s being hyped on this week’s cover of Time, a sure sign something’s already passé.

the domain is spelt with a Z not a S,
so it is http://www.TwitterAnalyzer.com not
http://www.TwitterAnalyser.com
but being that the rst of the world spells it with a S you should check out http://www.TwitterAnalyser.com as funny story there.

It’s not so much a case of misspelling as personal preference, Dean. It seems Americans prefer “z” and Brits (and most Canadians) prefer “s”. Both are correct.
I just googled “twitter analyser” and your TwitterAnalyzer.com came up at the top of the page (this blog post came second – coolio!) so I don’t think buying the extra domain name was actually necessary.
HMH, the trick is to not obsess about stats.
Oh ian, you sound just as tedious as me when I start whinging on about Facebook … fun, innit?

Actually, the tedium is in the medium, and that’s both Facebook and Twitter.

I am finding Facebook a little tedious these days, but that’s the only way I communicate with some people. Twitter is just background noise when I’m surfing. Sometimes it brings me things like the story of Ernie the parvo pup, but other than that, it’s just occasionally amusing.
