A couple of iPhone shots taken yesterday from the apartment terrace … the beach when I arrived and the port just before I went to bed. I can’t imagine coming to Málaga and not staying here at Manolo’s place. It really feels like home. And it isn’t just the terrace views that are different – I feel different here. Maybe it’s the sea?
Anyhow, very busy day as I am just about to go meet Victoria, spend the morning at the bodega and then head out to the vineyards at noon to meet with the American group. More later…

The air is different by the ocean, so maybe that accounts for how you feel. Certainly being someplace not so urban has an effect on the amount of pollution you are breathing, and that definitely has an effect.
And, what a wonderful view! Having a view like that has GOT to make a person feel different! Enjoy. . .

I’m having a great day. Met Victoria at 9 o’clock at her apartment, then we drove out to the bodega. Around noon we went out to the vineyards to meet a group of American restauranteurs who were visiting. Had a short wine tasting and then headed back to Málaga for lunch at Maricuchi (one of my favourite Málaga restaurants).
It’s 8pm and we’re at the bodega now. We’re thinking of making a short video here before calling it a day.
I think I shall sleep very well tonight, listening to the waves…

Vineyard Visit
Today the plan is to do a bit of wandering around town, have lunch, then probably catch the 5 o’clock train back to Sevilla. And I MUST remember to go bathe my feet in the Mediterranean before I leave!
It’s been a great trip. 🙂

I can only conclude that “bodega” means something different in Spain than it does in New York, where it apparently means a place where you can get Schlitz, cigarettes, and a cheap hooker at 4am.
