Grand Ardèche Chardonnay 2008
Vin de Pays des Coteaux de L’Ardèche
The Grand Ardèche Chardonnay comes from Southern France. The grapes are treated as if they were grown in one of the Grand Cru vineyards of the Côte d’Or. Fully-ripened grapes are selected and pressed lightly before being aged in oak barrels made at the Latour cooperage in Beaune. The result is a full-bodied wine that is smooth with notes reminiscent of exotic fruits and vanilla spice imparted by the oak.
I wonder if it would pair well with The Haggis…

I got a letter telling me my annual eye check is due. Coincidentally I also received a text message from my dentist telling me my 6-monthly checkup is due. Last week I got a letter from the doctor reminding me I’m due a smear test. As the car’s due a service about now too May’s gonna be full of check-ups.
But I also received the train tickets for a trip to London I’m taking mid-May – me & my mum are going to see Pricilla Queen of the Desert. So it’s not all dull and dreary.
