I remember what a relief it was moving to the new casa az and not feeling the need to put up as much kitteh protection as I had at the old place. But when Luna came along I felt it prudent to at least put up a bit of protection to keep her from accidently falling off one of the balconies. Meanwhile, the upstairs windows and door out to the terraza have always had plastic mesh put about half-way up, mostly to keep Loki in and Pérez out. But as you can see, Luna has turned out to be quite the escape artist (la escapista!) and so I am going to have to add more mesh. Darnit.

Oh, that’s the heart in the throat feeling I get when Fergie dances on the banister…

A couple of months ago I tried letting her and Loki out on the terrace to see how they’d behave out there together. Well, no way. Until I get trellising put up I’m not risking it again.

The trouble with trellising is that it can uisually be climbed by a determined enough cat.

I know! But I think if it is flush with the cement wall she won’t realise it’s there as it’ll start about a metre from the floor.
But she is such a little climber! I’ve never known a cat like this. She also flings herself at soft furnishings and then sticks there like she’s velcroed. Shame about the curtains…

Have to hope for the best then! Maybe a well aimed water pistol if she shows roo much interest?

On the general theme of cats, I bought a mug yesterday with a picture of a number of cute kittens on and the words, “To err is human, to purr feline!”. Thought you’d appreciate this!
