Just a fly-by post as things have been pretty hectic this week. But happily hectic!
Here are the Londoners with Peter up on the roof after a lazy tapas lunch out. After lunch we had gone over to visit Azar’s grave (at Sara’s request) then over to casa az so everyone could see the new place and meet the kittehs. You can just about make out Loki on the small table next to Sara. Luna was lurking around the edges pretending to be nervous. Anyhow, it’s been great seeing the gang again and once again I find myself wishing that my faraway friends didn’t live so faraway.
How’s your week been?

Glad you’ve had a good time.
My week – busy workwise and now signed off as fit by the cardiologist, so back to proper exercise and no reason to hold back!

Yay! That must be a relief.

Very much so yes – so life steadily returns toward what passes for normal here.

Benjamin’s kidney problems have caused weightloss so I had to take him in to get subcutaneous fluid (he ended up with a huge “bag” of fluid which wandered from his back) and he’s feeling a bit better, I think.
Aside from that, he has actually gotten used to Cam, the Rottweiler, but is still being bugged by Sylvester the cat. They will be going to their own house this weekend so life will go back to some semblance to normal… No driving across town twice a day to drop off and pick up my grand-nephew from school. No trips to the grocery store for MORE milk and MORE bread and MORE cheese… Etc.
And I thought you would like this… Reminds me of a certain someone in your household.

Counting my blessings! I was hit by a car crossing at a well lit pedestrian crosswalk after work on Thursday. One step away from being totally creamed! I have lots of bruises and the driver who was speeding and passed the stopped car lost her side mirror, that’s what hit me and likely saved me. But as I say, I’m counting my blessngs and appreciating how quickly what you have could be taken away. Glad to be alive and glad to not be in a hospital, in traction and using a bedpan!!
