I admit it’s not my best habit, but I almost never sit at the table when I eat. Meals at home (unless I have company) are more likely to be snacky things, eaten either at my desk or sitting in my comfy chair with feet up while netflixing. Except I didn’t have a comfortable side table for doing this… until now! And look, it isn’t even IKEA. I needed an actual screwdriver to put it together. 😉 (that’s a stock photo by the way, not my sofa or books).
Anyhow, it’s practical and even has a little slot designed to hold an iPad. Which will come in handy if I ever start reading ebooks. But that’s it for furniture now… no more space – or need – for anything else.
I like the table and it looks like it would be easy to make.

Link to where you got it? I’d love something like that, only in a dark wood instead of white to go with our furnishings.

I couldn’t find it on amazon.com (I bought it from amazon.es), but here’s a link…
https://www.amazon.co.uk/SoBuy%C2%AE-FBT48-W-Coffee-Storage-Shelves/dp/B076JF3VH9/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1522050828&sr=8-1&keywords=SoBuy%C2%AE+FBT48-W
It’s made by Sobuy and I think just comes in white and black.

Also, it does look like a fundamental design flaw that the iPad slot (which is ingenious) is in the middle of the tray. Why not put it at the back so a plate of food fits in front???

A small plate would still fit. I don’t know… maybe it’s in the middle so it’s more stable and is less likely to get knocked off?
