tree

Here it is… my first Christmas tree in over 28 years. Well, as I told you yesterday, it’s not really mine. Although this is my fourth Christmas in this Casa Az it’s the first time my downstairs neighbour has put up a little tree in the entrance, and I love it. I’ve been told it’s not “finished” yet and am intrigued to see what will end up on it next. Maybe I should add some tinsel?

UPDATE: As you can see, more decs have been added as promised though still not sure if this means it is “finished”. Also noticed that the ornaments still have price tags attached. Ummm…

very special christmas

So it’s now just 15 days until Christmas! For many it’s just another day. For others it’s an excuse to travel abroad to visit family and kill other people because you couldn’t just NOT DO THIS in the exact same way for just one year. Still others (like you and me!) are looking forward to enjoying the holiday season and celebrating it in our own way. And so rather than complain about all the Covidiots out there (for a change), I thought it would be nice to talk about how we have been adapting to the changes thrown our way this past year and, especially, how we are going to celebrate this very special Christmas.

baby its cold outside

It’s cold inside too, especially first thing in the morning.
And these three don’t make it easy to get up.

loki is 11

Happy Birthday Loki!

In spite of leading a very stressful life Loki still finds time to relax.
Big love to my big orange doofus.  ❤

baby loki

These were taken shortly after he came to live with us, 8 weeks old.
As you can see, he’s always had a penchant for soft pillows and duvets.
Loki was built for comfort, not for speed.

caturday dec 5 2020

This is actually a pic from last winter, with all the cats piled on top of me in my comfy chair. It’s started happening again with having to put the heat on a couple of nights ago. Suddenly I’ve become very popular again.
