old faithful redux

Omg I brought my number one fan Old Faithful down from storage for a cleaning before putting her back to work and the doohickey thingy that the other thingy (on table) screws onto – that holds on the back panel – just fell off. Or better said it just broke off from the motor bit. Dammit. So today I bought some special super-duper glue meant for hard plastic bits and will see if it works. So far it’s holding up but I’ve been told by the instructions that I have to wait for 24 hours FOR BEST RESULTS. Thoughts and prayers please…

Well okay, it’s actually her birthday tomorrow, April 7th, but as this is Caturday we’re starting the celebrations a day early. It’s hard to believe this still kittenish girl is 11 (she can now officially be switched to “senior cat food” along with Luna). Every day I’m so happy to have her in my life.

My little monkey Azar shortly after I brought him home from his previous street life. Way back in 1995! I couldn’t have known then that this tiny little guy would end up owning my heart, but there you go. We had 16 love-filled years together. I still miss him, his quirky ways, his humour (only cat I’ve ever known with an actual sense of humour), his ferocious love… and of course there is Morcilla now who often channels Azar (they were born on the same day 18 years apart), but this guy was totally one of a kind. Anyone who has had the good fortune to meet him will confirm this. Happy Caturday! 🐈‍⬛ ❤️🐾
