Hard to believe my curious and still kittenish girl is 13 today.
Here she is next to me in the office this morning.

This is from the weekend I brought all the kittens (and mum) home to see which one I was going to bond with… guess who won! I mean, all four were adorable but this little flirt won my heart. Smudge was her “milk name”.

Well okay, it’s actually her birthday tomorrow, April 7th, but as this is Caturday we’re starting the celebrations a day early. It’s hard to believe this still kittenish girl is 11 (she can now officially be switched to “senior cat food” along with Luna). Every day I’m so happy to have her in my life.

It’s the happiest of birthdays today because not only did Morcilla turn 10 (omg she’s 10!) but today we were also able to say goodbye to the dread cone that she has had to put up for the past couple of weeks since her surgery. I swear she hasn’t stopped grooming since it came off. And of course it’s extra especially happy because the cyst removed from her tiny head turned out to be benign. Really, we just couldn’t be any happier today.
