They are saying that most infections are happening at home now (how do they know that??) so just in case I’m making the cats social distance. It was a hard no on the masks though…
Just in case you guys think it’s ALL NETFLIXING ALL THE TIME around here, Morcilla also takes her duties as my PA in the office very seriously. As you can see it’s NOT DISTRACTING AT ALL having her snuggle on my shoulder while I sit at my desk and pretend to work. Ok, I lie. It’s distracting AF, but it’s also so adorable I don’t want her to stop. Especially when she starts purring and nuzzling her little nose against my ear *squeeeeee*.
This popped up in my ONE YEAR AGO Instagram memories… l was on my way to Madrid and Morcilla clearly didn’t want me to go. So I’m guessing she’s been loving her Covid year and having her human constantly at her beck and call.
It was also a little bittersweet remembering this trip to attend my friend José Pizarro’s book launch, back when it was possible to travel and when I had a job ETC ETC ETC. I wonder how it will feel looking back a year from now.
Luna is sooooo in the dog house. She peed inside the coat closet, where l also store the ironing board and vacuum cleaner and OMG what a stench. Vacuum bits have now been washed, coats spritzed with azahar-bergamot water, closet floor and walls scrubbed and bleached, and the closet is airing out.
The culprit is presently hiding under the sofa and knows exactly what she did. No dinner for her tonight! (well l say that but will probably give in to those big blue eyes). And yes l know that cushion also needs cleaning. So did the cat litter box this morning. Which is why l think Luna protested today (she’s done it before, but still). It’s presently a stand off, meanwhile going to get a lock for that closet door.
