Hard to believe my curious and still kittenish girl is 13 today.
Here she is next to me in the office this morning.

Morcilla shares her birthday with my beloved Azar, born 18 years apart.
This is from the weekend I brought all the kittens (and mum) home to see which one I was going to bond with… guess who won! I mean, all four were adorable but this little flirt won my heart. Smudge was her “milk name”.

Kalé has been back in Sevilla this month (she was last here in 2019). This is her final week and I’m going to miss her. Kalé was one of the first lodgers I had in my second Casa Azahar, close to 25 years ago (!!!). Hard to believe we’ve known each other so long, and that she has met ALL of my cats, well other than Morcilla, but will try to remedy that before she leaves. Meanwhile, Kalé has been helping me out with Tapas Research and it looks like we will be able to squeeze in one more lunch this weekend.

Six years ago today we went into Covid-19 lockdown in Spain, which also happened to be a Saturday. Don’t know how l would’ve managed without these three, seen here competing for lap and leg space. Morcilla 🐈⬛ and Luna🌙 are still with me, Loki 🐈 is still missed 🐾
